What we process and why

When you send the request form we process the data you give us — name, phone, email, company if you state one, and the content of your request — for one purpose only: to reply to you and prepare the quote for the car you are looking for.

We do not build profiles, we make no automated decisions and we do not use your data to send you marketing unless you expressly ask for it.

We also store a technical fingerprint derived from your IP address (a hashed value from which the address cannot be recovered) for the sole purpose of limiting repeated form submissions and preventing abuse.

Legal basis

Processing is based on your consent, given by ticking the box on the form, and on pre-contractual steps taken at your request (Articles 6.1.a and 6.1.b GDPR). Abuse prevention relies on our legitimate interest in keeping the service available.

How long we keep it

We keep request data while the enquiry is being handled and afterwards for as long as needed to address any liability arising from the relationship. If the request does not go ahead, we delete it after twelve months. Technical fingerprints are deleted after one hour.

Who we share it with

We do not pass your data to third parties except where legally required. If you go ahead with the service, we will share the data strictly necessary with the Spanish tax authority and traffic authority, with the agency handling registration and with the carrier, because the car cannot otherwise be registered in your name.

The technology providers hosting this site act as data processors within the European Economic Area.

Your rights

You may request access to your data, its rectification or erasure, restriction of or objection to processing, and portability, by writing to [email protected] or to the postal address above, enclosing a copy of proof of identity.

You may also withdraw your consent at any time and lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) if you believe your rights have not been respected.

Security

We apply technical and organisational measures to protect your data. Traffic to this site is encrypted and request data is stored on a restricted server, outside the public area of the website.
